“A “happiness project” is an approach to changing your life”, Gretchen Rubin, the author of The Happiness Project, explains at the start of her book. The Happiness Project chronicles Rubin’s experiments with trying to create more happiness in her life. It will explain her specific process, including what she tried and what she learned. Despite everyone’s projects being different, Rubin notes that she often learned more from people’s specific experiences rather than from general information, and thus hopes that the recounting of her experiences will inspire the reader to start their own happiness project.
